What Hip Hop is Missing?

When he was 13 yrs old his older sister was murdered and his mother had passed away from liver disease.

Through his pain he was able to start expressing himself throw Hip Hop.  Don Rose aka D-Rose is exactly what Hip Hop has been missing. Always, being able to stand out from the rest from making people dance to making people think and listen to his story. D-Rose’s story begins Dec 31 from growing up in Florida from never knowing his father.

After attending Gannon University and earning his Bachelors he was able to start showing off his talent. Since 2005 D-Rose has performed all over Atlanta area including the Fox Theater, Apache Café, Verve Lounge, the Atrium, the Sweet Auburn Festival, and the World Congress Center.

He also performed at the Apollo in Harlem, New York in 2009. Beside the stage D-Rose has been in movies and TV- shows including Tyler Perry's, "Meet the Brown," (TBS in 2010) and ATL, Drumline, Stomp The Yard, and Big Momma House, Fast and the Furious.

Medea’s Family Reunion, Medea Goes to Jail and Vampire Diaries (CW 2010) and Change up ( 2010) along with Due Date ( 2010) it goes on and on. D-Rose’s talent and efforts have been recognized by big names such as Ray Lavender and Bahamian artist So$a Man and many more.

He has collaborated on numerous occasions with these artists. D-Rose became the newest addition to Ray’s World Music under R&B artist Ray Lavender. D-Rose is just getting started so be on the lookout for him...
