Norman A. Anderson III is a person of very few words but a creator and developer of many great ideas and endeavors. He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from New York Institute of Technology. He has worked for the past 19 years as a buyer, merchandise planner, private label program developer, and clothing line developer for department stores and designers.
He has worked for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, inclusive of but not limited to Federated, Wal Mart, Kohls, Paris Collections (Yves St. Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Claude Montana, New Man), Sean John Kids, Calvin Klein Kids, Lacoste Kids,and Izod Kids. Norman was a board member and fundraiser for Harlem Dowling Center for Children's Services.
He also participated in Federated's nonprofit organization, Partner's in Time. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The VertiKal Alliance, Inc. “ A Global Movement of Positive Energy!” Our Mission is to, “Uplift, Enhance, and Educate, our local neighborhood for the betterment of our Global Community.” He has been making alliances through his promotion of creative individuals and businesses beginning with his clothing line VertiKal for his skate team.
Norman's Philosophy
His philosophy was to represent a straight-up, no time for nonsense lifestyle. A movement was born and soon people began to recognize the word VertiKal and wanted to be part of the positive energy it represented. This is the thinking that led to the inception of VertiKal MagaZine which has been in existence ever since.

Our Magazine features will also have a strong focus in regards to sustainability news and issues that may not always be found in the mainstream media agencies or magazines. “We also have two radio programs: VertiKal Bistro a Real-Talk radio show; one of our best series that is a part of this program is, the “Women On The Rise,” series which features women who are business owners or are pursuing their passions who come together to talk about the true life challenges, successes and give valuable first hand advice to other women who are thinking of starting a business or/are on the path to fulfill their dreams.
VertiKal Café radio is an open forum for new Poets, Spoken Word Artist, Vocalists, and Musicians to present their talents to be heard by our audience. We hope to present the best of the news that is not usually traditional, but focuses on the dynamic achievements of individuals globally. At the end of April we are planning a Fashion Gala and hard launch for VertiKal MagaZine. This will be a celebration of bringing together VertiKal’s past, present, and future achievements."
Plans for Future
Norman plans for the VertiKal Alliance Inc. exceeds its' current functions; which at its' core is to enhance and enrich peoples' lives. "It is not just about a clothing line or a skateboard team. It's not just about building a brand. It's about building a lifestyle... a movement." Norman is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for the Winged Victory Foundation. He is also the Chief Financial Officer for the T.O.U.C.H. Foundation.
Norman is the proud father of 12 year old, Norman A. Anderson, IV.
